2013 will be the year of going back to some old friends. We will follow the call of Spain first, that has the power to become a great venue and will go on to one of the oldest Skiff places in Germany; Diessen at lake Ammersee. One months later Grevelingen in the Netherlands will become again tour location and everybody from last year knows the Dutch can sail AND celebrate parties. For the European Championship we return to some good old friends in Carnac, France.
Only 10 days later the first Skiffsailing- (only)Club in Italy will host us again after a longer absence. 3 years after the last time the class returns finally as the sailors did before many years.
This season is comprimated in the beginning due to the fact that a whole bunch of teams wants to go to the Mark Foy Trophy in San Francisco and show the European flag finally also on the Extreme 18ft Skiff World Tour.
For the last race the fleet will move back to the roots of the European 18 ft skiffsailing in the UK again joining the Nationals end of september or october. Dates will be announced for this last event soon. A perfect place for the showdown for the European crown.
