the new "Real World Ranking" ;-) is online since today. It is the most complete world Ranking ever, hosted by the European Association. We include all national races in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Europe as well as the major events of the class, the World Series Events. There is a formula behind to make it as fair as possible and we will adapt it over the next years if necessary. This Ranking shows a wide screen of the whole class over the past two years, including also teams as well as helms and also crew rankings. To be top in the ranking you need to participate in at least 4 regattas over the last two years. The more valuable the regatta is the higher is the amount of points. the most valuable regatta is the JJ.Giltinan, followed by Mark Foy Trophy and the World Series Regattas. It also makes a difference if the regatta has taken place within the last 12 months or older. But have a look on it at the European website yourself and enjoy it.
Additionally a World Series Ranking by Howard Hamlin is planned and upcoming soon.
