The Europeans 2012 were just going on but we are planning next season already. For this purpose we did a poll, were all teams were allowed to participate that had been or are members of the european class. According to the European class rules every team can become member of the european 18Foot Skiff Association that has sailed at least one European event. Every team had two votes for the most wanted location. The poll resulted in a clean tie between all three possibilities, Torbole, Campione and Carnac. I will now proceed to find a date with all three locations to see if this will reduce the selection by itself. We all agreed at the European skippers meeting, that we need six days of racing and a good location with possibilities for both rigs. The date should be within beginning of June until 7th of July so the container could come from Australia and go on to San Francisco, were the next Mark Foy trophy is held in the gap between Louis Viton Cup and Americas Cup from 9th until 12th of september.
