Nine teams found their way to Bruinisse on Grevelingen the biggest saltwater lake in Europe. On day one all teams went for small rig and had three races in shifty conditions. At the end of the day Hyde salis found themselfes on top of the leaderbord gaining it with the best speed and smart decisions upwind. Second was Kaltenberger Ritter from Germany after a stunning performance in front of EuroLink and Young&Reckless. The following two days were definitely big rig in light conditions and four different teams won at least one race showing the difficulty of the race area. Finally Jack, Sam and Mike from Hyde sails won their second European Grand Prix after Hungary, performing well in front of EuroLink that split points in front of Kaltenberger Ritter on third, followed by Magic Marine, Young&Reckless and Gill. First of all: only four weeks for a great event. free italian food and beverages after the races, served icecold (the Drinks) and lots of volunteers helped to create a perfect event. Banners, beachflags and more showed the spectators were to go, fotographers, a Filmteam - Daan and Bob and your all of your supporters you did a great job. The starting boat was a big house boat crowded with Sponsors that had also the possibility to seil on the dutch boat Pandion after the races. In the evening the starting vessel came over to the beach turned around and showed two really big big boxes ready to float the beach with good music and a really exiting beach party with the sponsors and sailors together took its way through the evening. Dancing in the water on the beach no matter who cares...A great event also for the family and partners and this event is worth to be joined again by more teams.
