Next Friday we will see a great showdown on Lake Wannsee from 10th -12th October between two teams. First is Team Berlin Syndicat that finished 2nd in the first round on Lake Ammersee in May and 2nd in July at the Travemünder Woche, German Open and European Grand Prix. 9 teams showed up for the final races in Europe and Germany on beautiful lake Chiemsee. After last weekend it was already snowing there 20 cm's, it was beautiful and quite warm weather. It was the final day of the German Tour but nobody knews when the teams got of the beach at around 10.45 a.m. Due to a mistake in the sailing instructions the 18s only went for 8 races in total, not 12 as expected in three days of sailing. The weather was cold and some sheets were frozen in -2,5°C in the night but the sun was heating everybody up soon...or was it the match on the water?
