Please take care if you are selling items !! Some guys are trying to swindle us !
The process they are using is pretty simple :
1) They contact you because they have a customer who is interested in buying your mast and that they will arrange the deal, including shipment.
2) They explain you that the customer will send you a check with more money than you expect and that you have to forward the difference to the shipper company.
3) You receive a check by post so until here everything looks pretty fine.
The problem is that the check is unfunded !!! So if you don't take care, you will send your own money for the difference and never be able to get the money out of the check.
I got the problem with my carbon mast (hopefully I ask my bank to validate the check before). The name of the guy was Campbell and he was supposed to live in Spain.
