I am from Canada, I found a boat, am looking to get it shipped from Europe to Canada any ideas?

its hard to transport to Canada because there iare no races (up to now at least) The nearest is the International 18 ft Skiff Regatta in San Francisco in september, but I guess its far away still. There are also some container with boats from Europe (always 40 ft because of the masts, 4 boats fit in) and if there is some space left it could be an option to share in this container (but still the way back to canada left). Other option could be to look whether there is another Canadian team (used to do so in earlier years) going to San Francisco and can bring it as second baot on the trailer if the load works. Or you go sailing also for the regatta and come back with your boat to canada. Probably the easiest way: Rent a oneway 40ft Container (should be somehow around € 6000,--8000,-) to canada.
Were is the boat located in Europe? Were should it go to in Canada? Give us some hints.

Enough ideas I hope, no easy solution anyway.

you from the island or the main land and were in Europe is the boat. I ask theas two questions becous I found a boat in Germane and I too live in BC. Ship them together then race etch other?
